New season! Metropolitan Super Mixed League

The Metropolitan League are now taking entries fot their Super Mixed League 2024/25, fixtures start first weekend in September 2024.
Matches are played weekends, fortnightly, with home fixtures on a day (Sat or Sun) at a time to suite the home team.

Super Mixed team consists of two Men and two Ladies, four rubbers,
first half of each fixture will be 1 x Men's Doubles 1 x Ladies Doubles with the second half 2 x Mixed Doubles.
The scoring; 2 sets per rubber with normal tie break at 6-6 (no 3rd set).
One point per set won with fixtures and tables being kept here on MyDivision.

Team entering must be within a 10 mile radius of Birmingham City center, if your team is outside of this radius and you would still like to join, you must be prepared to play all your matches away.

This type of league is played throughout the country and is very popular
since it's introduction in Birmingham a few years years ago the teams playing in it can see why.

I'd like to think most clubs in the Birmingham region will try this new concept and enter at least one team, possibly two
(if two or more teams no mixing of players each player is tied to one team for the season).
A £ 10 entry fee per team will apply.
Please ask around and let me know if your club would like to join this new season before July 2024.
