Major Rule Changes for Summer 2025
Make sure you know the new rules before the season starts.
To all Captains & Players, There have been several significant rule changes agreed at AGM to apply starting this Summer. 1. The Ladies, Mens and Mixed divisions 1 and 2 have all been recombined into single larger divisions. 2. Penalty Points are back and the requirement to give notice to avoid them has gone. However, it is still polite to inform your opposing Captain if you are able to field only 1 pair or if you can’t get a team at all. See Rule; 14 3. Player availability has been much improved. The match quota for all, irrespective of division sizes, is now 12 and they can play 4 matches UP before they can no longer play for a lower team. See Rule; 15 4. The limit on the number of teams from the same club in any one division has been removed. Removed from Rule; 12 5. To clarify and to improve safety either Captain may call for a match to be abandoned for unsafe court conditions. About MyDivision.com
For over 24 years we have successfully managed tennis leagues within the Midlands. For the first eight seasons we manually created tables offline and uploaded them.
In 2009 we introduced our online fixture/result/table service with the option to involve player participation. We have improved our system each year by adding new features, sometimes at a leagues request but mostly for everyones benefit.
MyDivision is now one of the best outside of the professional game.
