2024 AGM and 2025 Entry Requirements

The AGM will be held on Thursday 28th November at Kenilworth Tennis Club at 19:30 prompt, can I remind you that you need to send a representative from your club along to the AGM and have them briefed on any proposals that we will be voting on. Any proposals for rule changes and/or points to be raised are welcome and should be communicated to the committee using the MS Forms link. The link to the Entry Form for the 2025 Season has been sent to all club contacts by email. Please can you complete this and pay the entry fees by 1st December. There is also a new separate form to nominate for player of the year and we encourage all clubs to make at least one nomination ASAP.

FIXTURES 2024
2024 FIXTURES ARE NOW LIVE
We have now entered all of the menâ€™s and ladies fixtures for the 2024 season. This is the first time Catherine and myself have been responsible this process, and it is not easy. It requires more than 1000 manual entries which are very difficult to check without reading through every match entry and checking it off from a spreadsheet. This also assuming the spreadsheet is correct and that I transferred all the home night and special requirements across from your entry forms without any mistakes. For this reason I would ask all of you to help by checking your own clubs fixtures and home nights, etc. as soon as possible so any errors can be rectified. If you discover anything that doesnâ€™t look right please do let us know. Thanks, Dave Farman and Catherine McElholm

AGM and 2024 Entry Requirements

The Microsoft Entry Form for the 2024 Season has been sent to all club contacts by email. Please can you complete this and pay the entry fees not later than 10th November. There is also a new separate form to nominate for player of the year and we encourage all clubs to make at least one nomination.

2023 Season information for Team Captains
Must dos
Contacts and Captains. Can you please make sure all information in Mydivision is up to date re club administrators and team captains. Every year we have problems with people trying to contact a captain, where they are no longer doing the role. It can waste a lot of time. Please check your fixtures carefully. It is YOUR responsibility to ensure they are correct. The entry of fixtures is a very manual process and mistakes do happen. Let us know ASAP please. Now that the fixtures are out it can be very difficult to make any changes. However, if a change is absolutely essential, please let Scott or Chris know ASAP, as the longer we have, the more likely we can make the change. No guarantees though. If you have any new captains, please make sure they have read and understood the rules. Ignorance of the rules is no excuse. Make sure you have registered new players at least 2 weeks before the start of the season AND make sure they are registered with the Coventry league. There is .......

Balls for 2023 Season

â€œDue to the smooth transition of all clubs last season the committee has decided to continue to allow any ITF approved TYPE 2 tennis ball to be used in our league matches for the 2023 season.
